WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!Date: 30th August 2008

Breif information about the carnival: As Phase 3 of our project, we are holding this family fun carnival to promote awareness about living a healthy lifestyle and about the dangers of heart disease. In addition to that, we are raising funds for our VWO who is the Singapore Heart Foundation.
WHAT YOU SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR!

Games!Be it famliy games, luck/chance games, sporty games, we've got it! Come on down because you might just be one of the lucky few that will walk away with attractive prizes from our lucky draw as well! Also, do participate in our games with your family members and as for what is the top prize...
the mystery will only be revailed when you come down on the 30th Aug! :)

Free Health Screening!Credits to SATA & Pfizer group for their kind voluntary health screening services for the adult! While you're here on the 30th Aug, why not take some time out for this attraction! Play safe & make sure you're as fit as a fiddle! Remember not to miss this out!

Vendor Stalls!Hey young adults out there, if you're reading this and thinking none of the above interests you,
THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD NOT MISS! There will be vendor stalls selling lovely things like fashion accessories, IT stuffs and many more just simply not to miss out! :) Also, for those with a sweet tooth, you'll be expecting things like popcorns & candy floss!
(Don't worry about sugar, we will be reducing it!)4.
Health Talks!What could possibly be better then a professional coming down to give you hands-on tips to keep you healthy and fit? Don't miss this chance to hear a 45 minutes long talk from Ms Gladys Wong who is a dietician from Alexandra Hospital on the topic '
Eat Well For Your Heart'! This talk will be going on from 2.45 to 3.30pm and this 45 minutes I ensure you is a very good trade for a good long healthy life! :)

Also, you can pledge heart 'beats'!In lieu with our efforts on breaking the Singapore Record on the most number of beads collected in a container for a charitable effort, we are asking for people to pledge boxes of heart-shaped beads which will be placed into the container for the official count!
How this works?- As a donor, you can pledge a box of 72 heart 'beats' for
$50!
- All the beads in these boxes will be accumulated into a container which will be used for the official count.
- All proceeds go to the Singapore Heart Foundation which will in turn benefit the poor patients suffering from heart disease!
Although this may look like a
small amount to many, it indeed is a
large amount for those patients with a huge burden on their shoulders. Your contribution will touch the hearts of many and bring hope to others.
(Even if this sounds cheesy, we have brought it up once again to emphasise on its importance and the amount of people you as an individual can benefit!)Make this difference.
